Protest Guidelines

I'll be adding to this as I get more info. But here are some things to think about:

We are Occupying JH in retaliation for our government being taken over by the 1%.

This protest does not have anyone in charge. If you are interviewed, stress that the opinions that you give are yours and yours alone.

Violence is not an option! We can't win at that game, even if we wanted to.

Know your rights. You have a right to free speech. You have a right to public spaces. This is our town, and these public places are ours, built with our money. Own them.

I have been told that we cannot block the sidewalks. But we can certainly stand on them. Be polite to those who want to pass by; they own these sidewalks as well.

Resist the urge to give policy solutions. None of them will happen anyway until our government is working for us. That is the focal point: take back the government.

A list of outrages is good. We should all be outraged.
